Farmers in parts of the western New South Wales region have recorded some of their best rainfall in years during the weekend.
Widespread storms across the state have dumped some good rain in many areas of the central west and western plains.
The highest rain recorded by callers to the ABC was 206 millimetres at Terramungamine.
Other landholders have reported 158mm at Bugaldie, 154mm at Wyanga, south-west of Narromine, and 127mm at Dunedoo.
One resident at Bogan Gate had 125mm over Friday night and Saturday morning, with his dam full for the first time in 10 years.
The Bureau of Meteorology says Peak Hill has received 112mm of rain since Friday and 78mm has been recorded in Wellington.
In the New England-north-west, Tambar Springs recorded 47mm during the weekend and the community of Backwater, near Glen Innes, received 32mm last night.
